Local art purchase helps the food bank, too

One of the paintings to be sold in support of the food bank, "Navel Gazing," 5x5" acrylic on panel, $100, by Philip Hodges. The Crossroad Artists includes 18 artists who paint together once a week and hold an annual art show and sale in the fall. Individually and as a group, they are members of the Peggy's Cove Area Art Society

The Crossroad Artists have a gift suggestion. You can purchase a small, original work of art by one of their members and support the St. Margaret’s Bay Food Bank at the same time.
The 12 paintings, on the theme of “Nourishment,” sell for $100 each, with 100% of the proceeds
going to the food bank.
See the paintings at the SMB Community Enterprise Centre, 5229 St. Margaret’s Bay Road in Upper Tantallon, weekdays, between 9am and 4pm. The centre will close for the holidays on December 24 at noon, reopening on Friday, January 2.
