Laura Adams<\/strong>, who brings nearly 19 years of RCMP service, including experience across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to working closely with residents and community partners to foster trust, open communication, and collaboration while supporting initiatives that enhance community safety and well\u2011being.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cst. Geoff Matthews<\/strong>, a seven-year member, values approachability and engagement. \u201cWhen community members feel comfortable sharing their priorities with us, it allows us to be more effective and proactive,\u201d he said. \u201cUnderstanding what matters most to the community helps guide where we focus our presence. Building relationships, especially with youth, is one of the most rewarding aspects of this role.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With nearly 19 years of service, <strong>Cst. Dave Wagner<\/strong> highlighted the importance of long\u2011term partnerships and early intervention: \u201cCommunity policing allows us to work collaboratively with residents, businesses, and local partners to address concerns before they escalate. I\u2019m proud to continue serving the BLT area and contributing to a safe, connected, and resilient community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cst. Melissa Guptar<\/strong> joined the team after serving eight years in Lunenburg County.&nbsp; \u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to meeting more of the community and getting to know the people who live and work here,\u201d she says. &nbsp;\u201cOne of the things I value most about community policing is listening to what matters most to residents and finding solutions together. I\u2019m excited to work alongside the community to help ensure BLT continues to be a safe and welcoming place for everyone.\u201d&nbsp; Outside of work, Cst.
